Mission
Every day, remote sensing satellites generate as much data as is stored in the Library of Congress. To bring more of this data down to Earth, Analytical Space is launching a satellite relay network that will provide the first secure, reliable, high-speed data connection in space. Satellite operators uploading to the network will have access to more of their data in less time, all while using their existing hardware.
Timeline & projects
Backward Compatible
- The data relays can receive data across a wide range of radio frequencies, allowing clients to extend their downlink capacity while using their existing hardware
High Throughput
- ASI uses a hybrid RF-optical communication system to offer orders of magnitude more throughput than traditional communication systems
Low Latency
- Downlink latency decreases with each relay satellite added to the network. With a full network, relay satellites can deliver client data minutes after it's collected
