Digantara tracks satellites and debris in orbit. Its SCOT satellite, launched in January 2025, watches other objects from space and can follow pieces as small as 5 cm, according to the company. In August 2026 it unveiled MOSAIC, a network of ground-based optical sensors whose first phase will have five nodes. Its software combines the data to work out where objects are and where they are going.

Anirudh Sharma, Rahul Rawat and Tanveer Ahmed set it up in Bengaluru in December 2018. They met through student satellite projects. Its first hardware in space was ROBI, a radiation sensor that flew on a PSLV in June 2022 under one of IN-SPACe's first private payload authorisations. A space weather test satellite, Pushan-alpha, followed in January 2023 on SpaceX's Transporter-6. SCOT was commissioned in March 2025, when it returned its first image, of the Earth's edge over Buenos Aires.

Since then the company has moved toward defence. It opened an office in Colorado Springs in February 2025, and that led to analytics contracts with US Space Command. Its December 2025 funding round was raised to extend its infrared sensors to missile detection and tracking. Sharma told TechCrunch that its contracts so far are worth about $25 million.
