How Space Talos Are Building Magnetic Shields For Satellites And Spacecraft

Mission
Developed technology to actively shield satellite electronics from space radiation.
Space Talos worked on active radiation shielding for satellites: generate a magnetic field around the spacecraft to deflect charged particles, so builders could fly cheap commercial electronics instead of radiation-hardened chips. Alexandros Christou and Majed Jawad founded it in London, registering the company in 2018.
The physics asks a lot. A field strong enough to matter demands power and mass that small satellites do not have to spare, and the company never publicly got past concepts and grant-stage work. Nothing flew, and no customer was ever named.
It dissolved quietly in July 2024, a fact recorded at Companies House and nowhere else.
