Mission
Designing functional and comfortable off-world spaces.
Stellar Amenities designs the inside of spacecraft. Anastasia Prosina founded the studio in Los Angeles in 2019, with a space architecture degree from the University of Houston, on the observation that stations and habitats get designed as machines first and as places to live a distant second: crew quarters, galleys, the human factors of confined life in orbit.
The market it serves barely exists yet. Commercial stations keep slipping to the right, and the practice has narrowed from product ambitions to advisory work: space architecture research, strategy, and a lab initiative for maturing crew-health technology, with clients named on its site including Reflect Orbital and Ethereal Matter.
By every visible sign it is a solo practice now, its company registration refreshed in San Francisco in 2025, its founder's own profile leading with a role elsewhere. Nothing about it is independently reported. The fair description is a specialist keeping a discipline alive while waiting for the habitats to exist.
